DoorDash asked if I could create multiple front-page ads for TikTok. In a day. With little budget. And ready within 24 hours. Tough ask.
My boss disagreed though and said ‘yeah, let’s do it’. So we got underway making two ads that would not feel like ads at all. They’d feel like a mate letting you in on a great deal. They’d look a little shit. They’d feel like an actual TikTok.
I played every role from concepting to writing to production to acting and transformed an impossible brief into a campaign with over 10,000,000 views, 1,500,000 engagements and [TBA] conversions to new DoorDash subscribers.
Not bad for a one-man show.
I even made a TikTok showing the behind-the-scenes. It’s the new integrated marketing, people.
